Asignalfromapressuretransmitterwillalwaysbeconvertedand
shownasatemperaturevalue.
Settingsaremadeasfortemperaturevalues.
Function
Capacity regulation
Thecut-incapacityiscontrolledbysignalsfromtheconnected
pressuretransmitter(temperaturesensor)andthesetreference.
Outsidethereferenceaneutralzoneissetwherethecapacitywill
neitherbecutinnorout.
Outsidetheneutralzone(inthehatchedareasnamed+zoneand
-zone)thecapacitywillbecutinoroutiftheregulationregisters
achangeofpressure(thetemperature)“away”fromtheneutral
zone.Cutinandcutoutwilltakeplacewiththesettimedelays.
Ifthepressure(thetemperature)however“approaches”the
neutralzone,thecontrollerwillmakenochangesofthecut-in
capacity.
Ifregulationtakesplaceoutsidethehatchedarea(named++zone
and--zone),changesofthecut-incapacitywilloccursomewhat
fasterthanifitwereinthehatchedarea.
Cutinofstepscanbedeinedforeithersequentialorcyclicopera-
tion.

Therelaysareherecutininsequence–irstrelaynumber1,then
,etc.
Cutouttakesplaceintheoppositesequence,i.e.thelastcut-in
relaywillbecutoutirst.
Cyclic
Therelaysarecoupledheresothattheoperatingtimeofthe
individualrelayswillbecomeequalised.
Ateachcutintheregulationscanstheindividualrelays’timer,
cuttingintherelaywithleasttimeonit.
Ateachcutoutasimilarthinghappens.Heretherelayiscutout
thathasmosthoursonthetimer.

Ifcapacityregulationiscarriedoutontwocompressorswithone
unloadereach,thefollowingfunctioncanbeused:
Relays1and3areconnectedtothecompressormotor.
Relaysand4areconnectedtotheunloaders.
Relays1and3willoperateinsuchawaythattheoperatingtime
forthetworelayswillbecomeequalised.

Relay module
Thecontrollercanalsobeusedasarelaymodulewheretherelays
inthemoduleareoperatedbythereceivedvoltagesignal.The
signalmustbeconnectedtoterminal15-16.
Dependingonthedeinitionofthesignalandthenumberof
relaysused,therelayswillbe”distributed”overthesignal.
Ahysteresisattheindividualcouplingpointswillensurethatthe
relaywillnotcutinoroutwhennotrequired.
